do I need to reserve paradors in June?

I am travelling in Andalucia for 10 days in early June and want to stay in Paradors. We'll need two rooms. Do we need to make advance reservations ?

You sure do..get on line and see if you can find an opening...

I most certainly would but it may vary by area. For example, the parador at the Alhambra is the most popular one in Spain and sells out months in advance.

You can check availablilty at the official site:

www.parador.es

There is a place to click at the top right to have site in English.

We're going to Northern Spain in June and have had our parador reservations (7 paradors, 14 nights) for months. They have a Golden Age discount of 35% off of the regular rate and only a limited supply in this category, so we booked as soon as we could.

Most are small, many are popular and they often fill up 6 onths in advance or more. If you mean for this June - good luck.

Yes, and even more urgently if you are seeking the senior rate.

Yup... better get a move on, folks. I wasn't able to get my first choices 4 months in advance.
