Do I need a different adapter for Switzerland?

Or just the same as for the rest of Europe? I've read in a few places that you need something different in Switzerland.

Thanks,
Alice

Its different. It looks like this : http://www.amazon.com/Switzerland-Gr.../dp/B0016ZM6LO
This is a good resource with pictures of the power points in each country.

If the devices you want to hook up are not grounded, i.e. have only two blades, then you can use the regular adaptor for Continental Europe.

Just make sure that the devices can handle 240V voltage. Devices that only need low power, like chargers, laptops, etc usually can - but check the device or power pack for a label that says "100-240V/ 50-60Hz".

We have Blackberries, and ipod and a camera that need daily charging. And I have a dual voltage hair dryer, so we don't need a converter. I'll look in my sack of adapters and see if I have one that looks like the one for Switzerland.

Many thanks,
Alice
