Distance Between Campo Dei Fiori and Spanish Steps
 

Hi,

Can anyone advise me of how far Campo De Fiori/Piazza Navona are from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain?

My friends and I are trying to pick a hotel, but are not sure if it is convenient to walk from Campo Dei Fiori to the sites farther north. We would prefer to be close to Campo as it is where we will be hanging out at night. We just wanted to get an idea of how far everything is in Central Rome.

The central historic district of Rome is fairly compact and the major sites are all within walking distance. It's a nice stroll from the Spanish Steps to Campo dei Fiori - the time it takes all depends on how often you stop to soak in the atmosphere and admire the sites. Choose the neighborhood that appeals to you the most - either way, you can't lose, both are great and centrally located. Have a great trip!

Campo dei Fiori is a great area to stay. Very convenient to lots of sights and restaurants.

I've walked from the Spanish Steps to the Pantheon/Piazza Navona area but strolled and stopped to shop, etc. along the way so it took hours. I guess a direct brisk walk without stopping would be about 20 minutes.

If you're thinking about distances to sightsee without a strict time schedule it's not far at all and there's so much to see along the way.

Using my large fold-out map and rounding it out to the nearest tenth of a Km.

These distances are from the Campo dei Fiori which is the farthest point from those 2 attactions. And these distances are 'as the crow flies' or straight A-to-B.
