distance between airports

Hi! Does anyone know how far it is between Heathrow airport and Gatwick airport? Is it easy to get from one to the other? I need to get from Heathrow around noon or so to Gatwick for a flight leaving around 6:45pm...how feasible is this? Any info would be great! Thanks!

Laura

There air airport connection busses that run round the M25 freeway from Heathrow to Gatwick. Unfortuntely the M25 freeway is notoriously clogged with traffic for most of the day - a better name would be the M25 parkway.
However, depsite this, three hours from plane landing Heathrow, to check in time Gatwick should be time enough to clear Customs etc., catch a bus and arrive Gatwick, so you should be O.K.

And I've done the same for the National Express coach - £12, takes an hour, BUT you can book online and get your tickets posted to you, so no need to worry!
