Disposable cameras

My hubby & I are trying to figure out if we should take our (heavy) digital camera or can we get disposable cameras in Edinburgh / London? If so, where can we get some?

I have used disposable cameras, they work okay, if you are in the US, you can buy them at any Walmart, Target, Walgreens or Eckerds stores

Why not buy a cheap 35mm and use regular film. It's alot lighter than having lots of disposable cameras. Better on the environment, too.

actually Anne, you can now recycle disposable cameras

I've used disposables for years (ever since my Pentax gave up the ghost) and LOVE them. I buy 2-3 before I leave, usually one panoramic one and 2 regular. Can't beat them. I've even had photo industry people when developing my pics argue about what kind of camera I used (and believe me disposable didn't enter their minds).

I actually priced cameras in Edinburgh last summer. They are Way more expensive. Buy a few before you leave and don't put them in 'checked baggage'.

Hi

whatever you decide to do........... don't put them in checked luggage.

The checked luggage X ray is fierce and can destroy film.

Peter
http://tlp.netfirms.com
