Disneyland Paris
Hello,
Does anyone know where there might be good internet deals on packages to disneyland paris (hotel and park tickets). I have looked at lastminute.com but didnt have much luck. Also, if anyone has been to disney paris, do you have any advice as to which hotel would be the best and most fun to stay at on the disney property. Thanks! |
I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (the pink one that sits astride the main entrance) twice and enjoyed it both times. If you can afford it, look into the possibility of a "Castle Club" room. But, any of the rooms are fine and this is the MOST convenient location to stay in for entrance to the park itself, the TGV and RER stations, Downtown Disney, etc.
I'm sorry I cannot offer advice on deals since each time I have stayed there I have dealt directly with the company by phone and fax. Have a great trip. |
It reall;y distresses me that you want to go to this souless place when you're in one of the world's great cities. I was "lucky" enough to win free tickets to this themepark, vile, boring, uninspired, truly an awful experience!
Please don't waste your money there. |
That's what we Yanks love about you Brits..always interested in "improving" the way the rest of us live our lives..now, if we could just fix that Windsor family problem of yours...
|
We took our kids there on one of our Paris trips. We stayed at The Disneyland hotel, concierge level has an elevator that lets you out at park entrance.Don't worry about what others say,we know why we do it(for the kids). They will love it.

Hi amy_zena,
please take no notice of m_kingdom2 what mk fails to recognise is that there are people in the world that like something different to her/him?? sure disney is not everyones cup of tea, but neither is barcelona, I detest Paris and I don't like london too much either but I recognise that people are entitled to make choices and that is something very personal. MK keep visiting your museums and keeping your personal packer employed and if you can't offer anything more constructive to posters like amy_zena, then please don't bother. Muck |
Thanks for all your replies. No kids traveling with me, just my boyfriend and I! :) M_kingdom, I live in Europe so I have seen Paris and most of europe quite a bit. I just wanted some fun if that is ok with you. It might make you cringe but I chose to spend my last vacation at Mirabilandia (an amusement park in Ravenna, Italy) and it was loads of fun!! I live in Italy and the art and culture are amazingly wonderful here, but sometimes you just need to have some childish fun! :) |
Hello again amy_zena,
Every time we have taken our children to Paris Disney, we have had difficulty getting any sort of offer. But I remember getting something like a 3 day pass for the price of 2. Or something along those lines anyway. We stayed outside the resort because it was so expensive for us but if you can stretch to staying in the resort, I don't think you will regret it. We were in Tokyo in December and were lucky to have the opportunity to visit the disney sea resort. It was great. I agree with you 100% and if you can't have fun on holiday, when can you ? Good luck Mucky |
Anybody else know about lastminute type websites to book disney paris vacations?
|
Hi amy.
I did a google.com search with key words: disney paris package deals last minute and a number of sites came up. Have you tried doing a google? |
For all things Disney it might be useful to explore Mousesavers.com. There will definitely be a trip report or two and usually she has money saving tips. As to going to Paris and Disney why can't one have culture, art and fun?
|
Disneyland hotel is the best hotel on site and it is also the most expensive. Other than that I would recommend Hotel New York because it is smaller so there are not the huge lines for the free breakfast buffet.
If you are interested in saving money and staying in newer hotels then you may want to consider some of the off site hotels which are about a 5 minute free shuttle ride to the park. Both the holiday Inn and the Movenpick are very nice. Nicer I would say than the on site hotels with the exception of the Disneyland hotel. |
for amy_zena, i have no good advice for Paris Disney but only a thumbs up for visiting amusement parks! i grew up in the 50/60's in so. calif. so was a regular at hte original Disneyland & a lover of theme parks ever since.
don't mind m_kingdom2 as he/she recently trashed all of Venice as tacky... so how can you go wrong with a theme park, non? ride that roller-coaster for me :-) |
