Discount rate @ Hotel Grand Bretagne Athens

Discount rate @ Hotel Grand Bretagne Athens
I am planning to stay at this hotel on 27th december for six nights (double occupancy). However, I have been unable to find any discounted rates - 280EUR the best I can find. Please could someone help me to find more reasonable rates.

It is too early to get a discount rate for dec. at any hotel in Athens.
Usually the special rates for the x-mas period are fixed mid november.
Then, you will get a package wich will include some gala dinners and frills.
In any case the new year's festivities on syntagma squ .,just in front of the Grande are colourfull,animated and an attraction not to be missed.

Here one more suggestion:
Have you looked under the Luxury collection leisure programs (spg.com site) ? They offer a rate of 295 with the 4th night free and breakfast included, this is theTaste of luxury rate or Luxury holiday rate at 245 includes breakfast, is this better ?

Right now, 9 July, the DiscountHotel site rate for this hotel is 601 Euros a night for that period. I think I would go ahead and book as BeachBoi suggests. And, very frankly, your whining about getting a discount rate from all those "top" hotels you frequent is NOT going to make this place lower their rates...save now or pay more later...up to you.
