discount airfare nice-paris

Is there a way to do an Internet search for discount airfares within France other than Expedia? I am trying to arrange air travel between Paris-Toulouse and Nice-Paris and would like to avoid paying the full fare that Air France's reservations website is giving me. Thanks!

I don't know about Paris-Toulouse, but for Nice-Paris you can use Easy Jet (www.easyjet.com). They are VERY inexpensive if you book in advance.

You can look up budget airlines at www.whichbudget.com to see if there are other options besides easyjet (which I personally would recommend).

You might also try using an aggregator site for future research such as Mobissimo, Farechase. You could also check fares at www.opodo.com

If you can navigate the French site, try anyway.com.

Yes, good idea.
Always look to the budgets when you can. You might go to www.skyscanner.com for a quick, convenient (expedia-like) method of getting a snapshot of samples fares, but keep in mind that all the budget airlines aren't featured there. Previous posters have referred you to whichbudget.com, a good clearing house to see where flights go. You might also try www.flybudget.com. It's relatively new, full of information, and provides a more user-friendly method of seeing which airlines connect between cities.

Next June for our return trip home, we will be flying EasyJet from NCE(Nice) to CDG(Paris) and then Zoom Airlines to YUL(Montreal).
The rates on EasyJet are very low; their site is quoting €17 per person/per way. You could also find some good deal sometime from Air France.

jet29, are you staying one night in Paris before your return flight home? I'd be worried if relying on EasyJet being on time. They usually are, but an exception in this case could be very costly, given how infrequent Zoom flights are!

EasyJet also flies the Paris-Toulouse route

You are right and this is one of our concern about our schedule. Zoom is leaving CDG at 11:30 and the same day we will be landing at 7:45 on Easyjet from NCE. Both flights are in and out of T3 in Paris-CDG.
Providing that every thing is on time do you believe that we will be OK (debarking domestic, collecting our luggage from EasyJet, getting to Zoom counter and registering everything for our international flight to Canada)

Obviously if Easyjet is late, we are in trouble. We may get lucky and Zoom could leave late also! BTW, Air France is also flying that route arriving at CDG at 8:15. Would that be a saver option? how are both airlines about respecting their schedules?

The AF fight is landing at CDG but at Terminal 2F and we would have to rush to Zoom at Terminal 3!!

Message: Try using www.opodo.com also for low prices (sometimes available) from the "non-low-cost" carriers.

I just booked easyJet for summer 2005 flight from Nice to Paris....at 15,99euro/flight plus 15,00euro taxes per person.
Had I booked for next week cost was 211euro plus taxes each. Not a bad deal. And several people on www.slowtrav.com have used this airline before.
