Disappointment! Trip Delay due to East Coast Weather!
 

I really really really hate connecting flights... flight to PHL got delayed past the point of being able to catch my flight to MAD today due to stupid snow... couldn't it have waited just one more day....
Ah well, at least I'm sleeping in my bed tonight not at some airport grungy floor, but now I'm not confirmed on a flight out until SUNDAY! I'll be making my way to PHL by bus tomorrow [no flights] to go standby on the PHL to MAD flight tomorrow night... hmmm, maybe that grungy airport bed is reserved for tomorrow night. Anyhow just venting some disappointmnet :( I could barely fit all I wanted to do in two weeks - now I'm down to possibly only 12 days :(

Ah, the joys of traveling off-season. That's the only way I travel and this is the common fear.

I'm sorry about your situation and I hope the skies clear and you get out Sunday, finding fabulous weather for every single day in Spain as a gift.

My sympathy, I had to shovel my way out of my home to walk Pastis.

A couple of years ago we were stranded at JFK at three in the morning due to weather. There were no hotel rooms to be found in the area. We finally found a room for $400 in Manhattan that ended up being dirty--the bedsheets had not been changed!
We were up all night frantically trying to find somewhere to go because all the flights to our original destination were full for the following four days...and the airline refused to return our money!
Two days later we were in Punta Cana with no swimsuits, sunscreen or sandals...I kept pinching myself. It was the ultimate last minute vacation.
