Any camera restrictions?

Did they allow them at all?

Or did they restrict flash?

Anyone try using a tripod?

Unless things have recently changed, the museum pass does not get you into the gardens at Versailles, which have a separate admission fee.

I believe the museum pass gets you into the national museums and I thought it well worth the price because you don't have to wait if there is a line, and you get in and out privileges, so you can break up a visit into shorter sessions.

Information on which museums are included can be found at

Because of the renovation projects going on at Versailles, the gardens are currently free during the week. I think there's an extra charge on Sat and Sun when the fountains are running (I am not positive because I went on a Fri 2 wks ago). The one-day Versailles forfait ticket covers that, I think.

I notice this Forfait Loisir or something similar is available at FNAC too.

Would that include the train trip?
