Direct Ferry Turkey to Symi Greece

I will be in Turkey for 2 weeks in May/June. Is there a direct ferry from Turkey to Symi? If so, where could I find info. on dates and times. I would prefer not to go to Rhodes before Symi. Thanks.

"Is there a direct ferry from Turkey to Symi?"

No. The closest connections are through Kos and Rhodes since not all Turkish ports or Greek islands close to Turkey have direct access to each other. There are international immigration and customs considerations that prevent that.

If you don't want to go to Rhodes then go to Bodrum in So. Turkey and take the ferry from there to Symi.

Hi,
Here is a great web site for Symi. You might find an answer there or email them to get an answer.

Enjoy! I love the island of Symi
