Dinner with a View of the Eiffel Tower
 

I plan on getting engaged in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. I could not get a reservation at Le Jules-Verne, which is located in the tower. So now I need a backup. I'm looking for a recommendation for a higher end restaurant that has a view of the Eiffel Tower.

How about the restaurant at the top of the Tour Montparnasse?

It is said (as it was said of the Eiffel Tower before it) that the view from the Tour Montparnasse is the best in town - because you can't see the Tour Montparnasse.

Look fort he Cafe de l'Homme in the Musee de l'Homme, the view from their Trocadero terrasse on the Champ de Mars and Tour Eiffel is superb

There's only one place you're looking for: the new, fab glass domed rooftop restaurant at the new Quai Branley Museum-LES OMBRES-you MUST make reservations because it is a hot table, one of the hottest right now, due to that location- this restaurant is literally right under the stars and the Eiffel Tower, where you can just look up and see the sparkles go off on the Eiffel Tower on the hour-incredibly romantic view at night.

The restaurant has a pre fixe tasting menu for 89 Euros per person-otherwise it's high end 100 Euros on up -but oh, that location-an IDEAL engagement restaurant.
