dinner on Easter Sunday
Hi everyone,
It's so nice to have to think about travel plans. My mom and I arrive in London on Easter Sunday. Does anyone have ideas for an early casual dinner? We are staying at the Paddington Hilton, but are interested in eating in central London |
The choice is astronomical and it depends on what you like to eat. Do you have any preferences for cuisine or have a price range? Remember that London is not the cheapest place in the world to eat in any case.

early?
dinner? both terms mean a range of things, are we talking 4pm? as Rubicond says |
"Does anyone have ideas for an early casual dinner?” Loads, but what are you look for in terms of cuisine and style? English, Arab, Italian, American, Indian, Chinese, fish, steak?
The Bakerloo line runs from Paddington so you could be in the West End in no time where there is a bewildering array of places to eat of all shapes, sizes and cuisines. Chinatown or Covent Garden are a good fallback, or for something a little more refined , there are lots of places around Marylebone. If unsure of what you want then I would probably head to somewhere like Kingly Court on Carnaby Street. Get off the tube at Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus and walk up Regent St. https://www.carnaby.co.uk/food-and-drink/kingly-court/ l. There are loads of different options and it is a really fun place. If its a nice evening and it looks like it may be, we may even head there ourselves! |
Thanks for all the ideas everyone.

Maybe check with your hotel for suggestions, and for reservations. It is possible that restaurants are either closed on Easter or are having special brunches or dinners.
