Dinner cruise
 

Will be arriving in Paris on Saturday and would like to book a dinner cruise for that evening. Need a suggestion for one that serves the nicest dinner and how to contact them to make reservations. Thanks.

Has anyone beeen on a dinner cruise in Paris lately that had really good good and wine plus all the sights. Help!

gail's question is the kind we all hate. if she'd just do a little of her own research, she could find various dinner cruises and reservation/contact information. jeez louise...

To me --<BR>That is not true. You can't tell a book by its cover, and you can't tell about the food and wine on a cruise by reading a guide book.<BR><BR>Cruiser's comments were correct. The last on his/her list has the nicest dinner and wine.<BR><BR>They all do the same tour, at different starting places. I think the Bateaux Parisienne has the best starting place -- across from the Eiffel Tower. Bateaux Mouches is the most popular, but the food is mediocre at best.<BR><BR>We've found the best cruises are where you do it yourself: take one of the evening cruises without dinner or wine, and bring the food and wine yourself.

I've had it with this website. What is wrong with some of you (note, I mean "me") I have done extensive research for my trip but of course, a personal recommendation means much more than reading a list of dinner cruises out of a travel book. There are some very mean and shallow people responding to questions on this site and it can only mean they are sitting alone at their computers because they have absolutly no friends because of their nasty personalities. Life is too short for this nonsense.

Gail you said it! Some people are so nice and some are so hateful! They must be very lonely (and have probably been NO WHERE!). I wish I had been on a cruise in Paris, so I could give you my opinion, but I haven't. Anyway, You Rock!

We used Bateaux Parisiens. I got their Service Premier, your have your own table at the front of the Boat plus other extras. If you want really good good food and wine then none of the cruises will have it. But the food was good the wine was so so, over all we got our money's worth and had a nice evening. I made reservations on line at<BR>www.bateauxparisiens.com

Gail, I don't have personal experience eating on the cruises, but I did take one. There is so much to look at that I wouldn't want to have to be trying to eat and look at the same time. Take a cruise and then go eat somewhere else.
