dining on the 25th in Dublin

Hey,

I guess we made a stupid mistake to go to Dublin with Christmas, seems that a lot is closed.

We are wondering were to go for a dinner on the 25th?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

Roger

Try some of the major hotels which ime have good food--the Shelburne, Merrion, Gresham, Westbury, etc.

E-mail or phone the concierges, they may have other ideas.

A lot is closed no matter where you go on the 25th.

Agree that the major hotels are a good idea but do get reservations right away.

I came across this article:

However, several are Chinese and that may not be what you are looking for on Christmas Day.

Non Christian options might be the best bet. I always recommend anyone coming over for 25/26th book a hotel package including meals. St Stephens Day 26th is also a National holiday so options might be limited for that day as well.
