Many thanks Cigale.............Just what I needed on the eve of our virtual departure to that marvellous place called Paris!
Other articles are very interesting as well - like the new ads in the metro staions. Won't help them when it comes to my cellphone as it hasn't got blue tooth switched on EVER!

Nice article. Thanks.

We were in Paris one March with cold rainy weather. We decided it was a good day to go to Musee d'Orsay. Took a break from the galleries and went to the Restaurant du Musee d'Orsay - what a wonderful respite from the weather outside. Very nice atmosphere and the meal was excellent.

The food at the Café Branly was OK--sort of ethnic--but overpriced.

All museum cafes and restos are overpriced, no?

They have a captive audience and they charge a premium for the location, which is convenient to museum visitors who are looking to refuel before going back, especially in the bigger museums.

Food often doesn't match the fancy architecture.
