Dining in Paris

My husband is taking me to Paris for my 60th Birthday, can anyone suggest a really nice restaurant please.
Also any suggestions on cheaper restaurants?

What's your budget for "a really nice restaurant"? Do you want a major restaurant, one with stars, or something less elaborate but still very good?

Perhaps something less elaborate, dont need "stars" on my B'day, just excellent food, fine dining but not Maxim's.

Our favorite is Au Petit Marguery, in the 13th. It's the kind of place where everyone always seems to be having a good time--usually several families celebrating birthdays.

Someone just posted this link on the other thread:

For "over the top" atmosphere and good food (but not Michelin starred) a memorable place would be Le Train Bleu in the Gare Lyon (train station).

I know dinner is very expensive, but I had a wonderful and memorable lunch at Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower with my daughter (at the time she was 24) a few years back. She is still talking about it 4 years later - it was one of the highlights of our week.
