Dingle self-catering

Does anyone know if there are any small self-catering accommodations available in/around Dingle Town? My husband and I want to spend some time there next spring, but all of the cottages/townhouses we've seen online seem to be much too large -- we don't need room for 10 or 12 people!

Anyone had any luck with this? Or can you recommend reputable rental agencies who might help us? Many thanks.

The best bet is to contact the Irish TOurist Board in your area (US 1-800-223-6470) they can send you a book with all the self catering places in the area. Also see there website at www.ireland.travel.com

Thanks for the suggestion — looks like we have a number of attractive places to choose from.

I'd also like to hear from people who have had personal experience staying in any of Dingle's self-catering cottages/apartments. What did you like/not like? Recommendations?

Jane,
My husband & I rented a cottage in Ventry, near Dingle last May & liked the whole experience so much that we plan to go back again next May. You can e-mail for details as I sometimes have trouble getting onto this website.
Kathy

Jane, We (wife, I, 2 children) rented a cottage last June in Castlegregory. Mountains behind, ocean/beaches in front - heavenly, and cheap! Nice location too. Easier for day trips than Dingle. Can't wait to return.
