Dingle Peninsula or Ring of Kerry?

We have narrowed down or Ireland segment and need to be realistic...we cannot do both so we are looking for some sage advice to help us select one tour. We are there in early July. Thanks.

perhaps you should post this under Ireland, not United Kingdom. Someone may be able to help then.

Definitely do Dingle...and go the back way over the mountain...a little hairy, but so worth it. Ring of Kerry is full of tour buses.

We were in Ireland last summer and did both. Both are beautiful but overall, Dingle was everyone's favorite of the two.

Definitely Dingle! On the first clear day you have, drive over Connor Pass. You may not get another chance.

Dingle Peninsula. It is equally (or more) beautiful than the Ring of Kerry, plus it isn't clogged by tour busses.

Dingle! But if you decide to go round the Ring of Kerry, leave early and go clockwise..Kenmare is a wonderful base...also, add Skellig Ring....warning though, there is a very steep switchback road climbing north ....over Coomanaspic Pass...not very long but the toughest stretch I've driven in Ireland or GB
If you decide on Dingle Pen ...Stay in Dingle and if at all possible go to the live music at St. James Church ....Mon, wed, or frid....get your tickets at murphy's ice cream early and with a discount...hope this helps and have a magical time...JW

Here's hoping you don't contract a severe case of dinglekerries (groan.... I know, I know).
