Dingle or Doolin?

My husband and I are traveling to Ireland for 7 nights in August (I posted a previous string but couldn't tag it from my phone, so am starting a new string. Eventhough this is really a continuation!).

Based on some very helpful advice from the Fodor community, I was thinking of the below for our itinerary....

Arrive in Dublin
2 nights Dublin
2 nights Kinsale (will also visit Cork while here)
2 nights Dingle
1 night Ennis
Depart from Shannon airport

However, Ennis seems pretty booked for our last night and I'm finding it hard to find a room. So, I was looking at Dingle. It's a little further from the Shannon airport, but since we have an afternoon flight, I thought ok.

Now that I'm looking at Doolin, I'm wondering if 1 night there is enough. Or, should we skip Dingle and head straight for Doolin instead? Is Dingle very much worth 2 nights? Or, should we spend more time in Doolin and then do the Aran islands while we're there?

Any input would be much appreciated!
