Dingle, Killarney,Kenmare,Bantry?

With regards to the southern part of my trip I have the following firm plans:

2 days/nights on Dingle Area (The Shores Country House)

2 days/nights in Kenmare Area (Killarney Lodge)

What would be better 2 more days in Kenmare or Bantry or split the time? I would appreciate any recommendations as to a nice place to stay?

Thanks

Killarney Lodge is in Killarney not Kenmare. Are you perhaps staying at The Lodge in Kenmare?

Why don't you spend a couple of days in Kinsale?

Yes Killarney Lodge in Killarney. Sorry for the confusion.

I have two days between Dingle & Killarney.

So Kinsale? I do not know anything about Kinsale. Is it perferable to Bantry?

Any B&B recomendations

I am still a bit confused. You say you have two nights between Dingle and Killarney? It would make more sense to go from Dingle to Killarney and then on to either Kenmare or Kinsale. Personally, I love Kenmare. But Kinsale is much better than Bantry. Where are you going after that? This must be only a small piece of your itinerary.

If you do really have two days in between Dingle and Killarney go to Kenmare and then backtrack to Killarney.

BTW, The Shores and Killarney Lodge are excellent choices. If Annette at The Shores is doing dinner definitely eat there. The food is fabulous!

Drive to Kinsale from Kenmare. Just stay of the N-71. Kinsale is a quaint little seaside village. Great Pubs and restaurants, winding narrow streets. Bantry does not have alot unless you use it as a base to explore the peninsulas. Along the way stop in Glandore for lunch and visit the ancient stone circle nearby and as you pass thru Clonkilty the Michael Collins museum is worth a stop. The SW is beautiful. Have fun.
