dial around codes to call Germany from US

would anyone be able to give me a good dial-around code to get decent rates to call Germany (elsewhere in Europe really, but Germany for sure). I'd like the ones with per-minute rates rather than &quot;20 minutes for 99 cents&quot; which docks you for even a 2 minute call. I'm in a new house and am still having waiting for cheap long distance to be hooked up, so until that happens...<BR><BR>thank you!

I use Startek, and once my son was on the phone with his friend for 70 minutes! They charged me under $5 for that. They used to have a dial-up code, try to call them 1-800-827-3374. They charge per minute.

I use 101-68-68 for France, the UK, Italy, and Portugal, and it's about 7-0 cents per minute, depending on the country. You can google it to get the rates for all countries.

101-6868 is PT-1 long distance.<BR>I have used it to Germany. No problems.<BR>Works as discussed above.<BR>I recall the rate was about 9 cents per minute.France is about 10 cents a minute and the UK is 8 cents. Cell phones are higher. Like 22 cents a minute to France.

Oops! I meant 7-10 cents, not 7-0 cents. Sorry...

Flygirl, here's a website that may be of use:<BR>www.10-10phonerates.com/intl.html<BR><BR>I've found that 10-10-811 works best. No monthly or other fees. Rate from CA to France is 12 cents/minute
