Deutsche Bahn -- Super Sparpreis Ticket
Here is a question...
I booked a non-refundable, non-exchangeable ticket from Munich to Innsbruck for December 1, 2021. Clearly, I can no longer travel to Innsbruck as planned. Can this ticket be refunded or exchanged now that Austria is locked down? I now plan to skip Innsbruck and travel directly to Bolzano. Let me know if it is worth trying to modify my ticket because of the lockdown in Austria. I also have a Super Sparpreis ticket from Innsbruck to Bolzano on December 3. (Of course, Munich and South Tirol need to remain open for this to happen). Ideally, I will now spend 2 nights in Munich and then travel to Bolzano on December 3. |
Hi KW, did you see this page on bahn.com? (It's the same page on bahn.de, sometimes the German page is different):
https://www.bahn.com/en/booking-info...hanges-refunds You need a ticket starting with MCP to be able to exchange or refund. Otherwise you might just be stuck with the situation. I don't know how train travel across Austria is managed now there is a lockdown, but maybe someone else here knows. Lavandula |
