Det Kongelige Teater

I will be in Copenhagen for only two nights early Nov. Chosen out of many possibilitees for an open jaw on a RTW trip, because I could go to a dance performance.

I have bought the ticket - I have booked the connecting flight.

If I was just going to the Northern Hemisphere I wouldn't be asking this question - but I will be spending 4 weeks in CA after I leave Europe.

I like to travel light. It will be cold in Europe and warm in Mexico. I'm happy to take everyday stuff and discard it.

If I turn up to a performance of the Royal National Ballet in jeans and trainers would I be shown the door? Would I be allowed in, but feel really uncomfortable?

What do you Danes wear when you go there?

Hi,
when I go to DKT I dress nicely, but people come in whatever they want.
There is no way that you would be shown the door - but I can't promise that you will not feel uncomfortable.
Enjoy Copenhagen!

After you sit down nobody is going to see your shoes and in the dark I doubt you'll feel the least bit uncomfortable.
