Depp/Penn - Paris
Has anyone been to Johnny Depp and Sean Penn's restaurant in Paris? If so, how was it? Expensive? Pretentious? Just curious.
|
Johnny Depp is SOOOOOO dreamy!!! ((L))

Oh, I know!!! I wonder what the chances of seeing him there are, ha!
|
Who is Johnny Drip? And I thought Madonna ran over Shawn Penn a decade ago with her BMW. Is he still alive?
|
I still want to know if anyone has eaten here. Anyone?

The name of the restaurant is Man Ray (http://www.manray.info/). A text search here for "man ray AND paris" will get you about 20 threads, including this one:
http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...mp;tid=1343063 I haven't been there. It's my impression that it's no longer at the hip & trendy apex and is therefore now easier to get into. You'll note that nearly all this info is at least a year old.... A google.com search for "reviews paris man ray restaurant" found the following: www.toptable.co.uk/Details.cfm?rcode=A257 www.worldsbestbars.com/city/Paris/ManRay.asp www.leclubparis.com/english/restaurants/ FenetreRestoEnglish.asp?Nom=Man%20Ray&Categori e=Restaurant http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...de_France.html |
Thanks Lesli. Maybe I will skip Man Ray this trip.

OK, maybe Man Ray isn't any good, but Johnny Depp is STILL dreamy! ((K))

A copy of map/guide I picked up at a tourist info stand in Paris has it's ad saying "partner-owners Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, Mick Hucknall and John Malkovich". Didn't know who Mick Hucknall was but then a song came from the radio I was listening to, "Say You Love Me" by Simply Red. I realized Mick is its lead singer.
