Denver to Italy-airlines

WMy family will be flying out of Denver and into Venice, the out of Rome back to Denver next spring. Does anyone know which airlines operate this route?

You can fly direct from Denver to London on British Air or to Frankfurt on Lufthansa or United, connecting to other European cities.

If you do a search at the aggregator site www.itasoftware.com using VCE as a destination from Denver you'll see there are flight combinations involving at least 15 different airlines (some of these are probably code shares).

Try it for specific carriers.

thank you!
I will check that website out now. I just went to cheaptickets and checked out the United flights. It looks like flights for the time we want to go are about 780.00. to me that seems like a great price-any opinions?

You could fly Denver to JFK then nonstop to Venice and back from Rome to JFK to Denver on Delta. I think that their Venice nonstop doesn't start from Atlanta till late spring?Delta flies nonstop from JFK to Venice, Rome, Milan and Pisa and nonstop from Atlanta to Rome, Milan and Venice. Cincinnati has nonstop seasonal to Rome on Delta

Thanks dutyfree.
Here's a potentially stupid question about connecting in Frankfurt:
would this mean dealing with 2 different customs?

ani - if you mean going through customs in FRA and then customs again in Venice/Rome, the answer is no (assuming you're on the same airline or code share). Your bags would be checked through to Italy where you'd go through customs. In FRA, you'd go through passport/immigration control, but not customs.
