Dentist In Hungary?
 

Hi, I am asking for my brother who has a trip planned already and found out he needs a new bridge. He has found some info online regarding dental tourism in Hungary but I thought I would check here. I searched and found an old thread but no specifics on Hungary. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If you drive from Austria into Hungary, just after you see the "welcome to Hungary sign" the signs for Dentists start and continue for around 10km. Bsically dentists earn less in Hungary than they do in Austria so ...

I got dental work done in Budapest and was very happy with the work (and the prices). I don't want to be unhelpful, but I am not sure if I should use this forum to give recommendations on a non-tourist service. If you or your brother are willing to give me an alternative channel of communication, I will give you a report.

Before planning this you need to determine how long the process of creating this bridge will take. It's typically a multi-visit process and will your brother be in Hungary long enough to have the teeth prepared, bridge created and then installed/fitted.

It can be as little as four days, start to finish.

He has an existing bridge that needs to be replaced and he needs at least one root canal. He is going to be in that area for a month so he has time. Thanks for your input!

There used to be several reviews on this board for dental work in Hungary, but I haven't seen any recent ones.
