Well, the day-to-day fare is meat and potatoes. Our experience is probably a little different, since we were in a home, but we had bread and butter, yogurt and cereal for breakfast, and meat, potatoes, sauces and other vegetables mostly. However, the menu was pretty varied. We had pasta one night, grilled out another, ordered pizza, etc. We were both on Atkins at the time and just gave it up for the trip and enjoyed! I think the main thing that will save you, though, are the small portions. You typically won't find huge American-sized portions in Denmark. There are loads of delicious, rich foods, but all in small sizes. I remember when I lived there that it was so strange that we would have a regular round cake for our while class! For family tea, it seemed like we actually split a cookie into four pieces! The thing we enjoyed most, though, coming off several months of Atkins, was the beer...cold and great everywhere we went.
