Delta Travelers - CHECK YOUR FLIGHTS!
Just checked with Delta to see about our Italy trip that is scheduled for the end of the month, and as it turns out, our departure flight had been cancelled. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone traveling on Delta to Europe soon, confirm their flights asap for any changes.

They routed us on Air France. The thing is, had I not called to inquire about something else, I would never had known that our original flight had been cancelled. We were not notified so it's important for people to call and reconfirm their flights to Europe with some advance notice.

Also watch NWA. On the way back from Paris I have a layover in Atlanta. Arriving Atlanta 6:30 p.m. and then departing Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. Kind of an impossible feat to accomplish. I called them up and they straightened it out.
I guess anyone traveling on any airline should check periodically to see if their flights are the same, or changed.

I just got stuck too. Delta called and left a message on my machine on Thursday telling me my flight was cancelled on my return trip (Sunday). They couldn't get me (and my daughter and her friend) back until midnight on Monday.
Glad I call home daily to get messages!
The girls missed school on Monday (8th graders), I was stuck with additional night of hotel expense and scrambling to get everything at home taken care of for one more day (dog in kennel, appointments and carpools cancelled, etc.) This was a local flight - Ft. Meyers to St. Louis.
Was also stuck (AA) coming back from London last month. Both times, the airlines said it was due to (impending) war - using planes to transport troops.
About ready to stay home, or drive.
