Delfini Hotel - a few questions
I've adjusted my budget and am now about to "splurge" for the Delfini Hotel. I'm now trying to understand the difference between staying in a Junior suite in complex A or studio in Complex C. Is one location better than the other?
We are staying 3 nights beginning September 22. My primary concerns are location and access to the swimming pool, if the weather is right. I don't know how awkward it is to walk from Complex A to C if we decide to stay there. I'm looking for pleasant ambiance & a beautiful view, with the convenience of the pool. I don't need a lot of amenities, but I do like a room that is pleasant to sleep in. I like the idea of the pool so that we can take a dip if it's warm out. Many thanks for all your help so far. I've posted this separately since I've made the decision on this hotel, although I had been originally deciding between Old Oia houses & Lauda. Paule |
Oops, I should've indicated the hotel is in Oia, Santorini.
But if you've gotten to this post, you probably know that, anyway. :) Paule |
There's not much distance between the complexes so walking to and from the pool isn't a hassle, but you should know that Delfini's pool is much smaller than Lauda's. It barely qualifies as a pool. It's more of a plunge. You can't really swim in it.

Not a problem, I'm not concerned about real swimming. A plunge is all I need on a warm day.
I've booked the Junior suite in Complex A - any reason why I should take the studio in Complex C instead? Thanks, Paule |
Not that I'm aware of.

One more done!
Thanks for your help. Paule |
I've been to Delfini a very long time ago.....
as i see now they have expanded, as back then they only had 4-5 rooms ..... 2 things i'd like to mention: Delfini has an excellent location on the main pedestrian path of Oia, without many stairs... The owners were extremely friendly !!!! Seems like an excellent choice Paule !!! |
