We stayed at Del Senato and could highly recommend it. We stayed on the 6th floor and our small balcony opened was opposite the inscriptions on the Pantheon. The view of the small Piazza della Rotonda at night was magical.

Bingo ! Those are my top choices in Rome. Both are excellent, but I suspect Cesari is cheaper--I would let price dictate.

Can vouch for Cesare. Excellent location, quiet. Nicely furnished, helpful staff.

I have stayed in both, and both are very good. I would see nothing wrong with making the decision on price. The location of del Senato is "superior" in the most teensy tiny way. I'd value this difference at about one euro.

Best wishes,

Rex
[email protected]
