In doesn't take 25 min to simply walk from 2E to 2F but you have to factor in passport control and security. And again 2G is the one that's quite far from the other terminals and has dedicated shuttles. You don't need to take a shuttle to go from 2E to 2F. In case you arrive at the M gates of 2E, you'll have to take a very quick and frequent train.

If you happen to be flying on AirFrance or Delta and have frequent flyer status (SkyMiles Gold or higher) keep an eye open for a separate line at passport control. In May when transiting through CDG from ATL to Lisbon we had slightly over one hour to make the connection.

When we got to passport control there were hundreds of people in line, but off to the right there was a separate line for "Sky Priority" members and there were 3 people in front of us on that line. Fortunately I had Gold Delta Sky Priority status and my travel companion was able to come with me in that line. From de-planing to arriving at connection gate it was just under one hour, but if we had to wait in the passport control line, it's doubtful we would have made the connection.

I'm not sure if these separate lines are at all of the passport control locations, but it may be worth it to be on the look-out for one.

I've seen the priority queues at all passport control and security areas I've used at 2E/2F.

People with tight connections are allowed to go ahead of anybody in any queue, whether they have 'priority' status or not.
