Deciphering Croatian Hotel Rates
 

This may be a really silly question, and perhaps i'm just not properly caffeinated, but I'm not sure what is meant by the following when researching hotel prices in Dubrovnik:
they list 1/2 B& B and 1/1 B&B. I'm not sure if they're talking about half board, number of beds, number of people. :) I've excerpted and pasted from a price list chart below. (the various prices are of the different seasons. I just can't figure out the 1/2 B & B and 1/1 B & B part. Thanks for your help and indulgence of my odd question!

Well, I just got back and 1/2 board is for bed & breakfast AND dinner. B & B is just bed & breakfast. Shower & WC, I think is just shower and private bath. Which hotel was this? I could maybe look directly at the web page and help a little more.

Ah! That helps! So 1/2 is one bed/two meals and 1/1 would be one bed/one meal. The info I pasted in my last message was for the hotel bellevue I believe. And I think the pricing was 'per person'. I'd love to find a hotel for ~$100/night or less for a double room. If you have any recommendations, let me know! I arrive in dubrovnik around october 8. Thanks again for your help!

WC means water closet = toilet

I stayed at the Hotel Komodor for a few nights when I first arrived. It was 88 Euro for bed & breakfast. It is in the Bay of Lapad area with a bus stop right outside to the old town. 8 Kuna 1 way. This hotel is a 3 star and was fine.
