December Honeymoon Suggestions Needed

My fiance & I are getting married 12/28/02. The carribean is crazy expensive and people say Europe is too cold. Does anyone have any unique ideas where we can spend 10 days. We want to relax so maybe just one town or city. I know this is vague, but I thought someone out there might have a unique idea. Thanks.

What about Venice, I was there with my husband the end of Feb. and loved it I thought that the chilly weather (50 degrees) actually made it more romantic. Or look at the Alps. If you want warmer weather check out Cyprus or Morroco.

Ditto for Venice the best place for a honeymoon you could add Florence if time permitted; yes it could be cold depending on where you are frome cold to California or Florida would not be cold to an East Coast person.
I still say go for it ....the time of you lives.....and they have a special pastry ; called a fritter that you can only get in the winter.I still dream about it.
Much love and happiness to you both.
La Dolce Italy

What about Costa del Sol, Spain? Southern Spain is lovely and not too cold during that time of year. You would also enjoy the Christmas celebrations.

I would say Venice, or Paris. Just stay put, so you don't have to keep unpacking and packing. Paris is likely to be cold, so bring layers to wear
(silk ski underwear is thin and very helpful). But nursing a hot chocolate or coffee with a pastry, or a glass of wine, in Paris is pretty darned great, plus with a week or more you can take a leisurely pace on the sightseeing.
