December Honeymoon Itinerary Help
Hi All,
Please help!! My fiance are leaving for our Honeymoon in and we have not even begun to plan anything... This is all we have: Dec. 5 - depart LAX Dec. 6 - arrive in Rome at 5:35pm. Check into Hotel Aberdeen for 6 nights Dec. 12 - check out of Hotel Aberdeen, Train to Venice Dec 12 - 14 Hotel San Moise Venice Dec 14 - Fly out of Venice to Paris. Dec 14 - 21 Paris: Hotel Muguet... Dec. 21 - Depart Paris for LAX at 12:30pm Opinions on our low budget hotels? Enough time in Rome/Venice/Paris??? Any suggested day trips? We were thinking maybe at least Assisi or Florence. Should we cut some time out of Paris and add more time to our Italy leg? Thanks so much for any advice. My fiance and I are in for a real adventure considering we aren't exactly world travelers!! :) xoxo |
Leave it as is. It's a good plan. There's lots to do in Rome and Paris. And Venice in winter is supposed to be very atmospheric. Save the rest of Italy for a warmer weather trip. You might think of an excursion from Paris, depending on the weather.
And you may want to bring a guidebook or two along to help you decide what you're interested in seeing. |
Since you only have one full day in Venice, I'd move a day or two from Rome to Venice. Otherwise it looks great for a winter honeymoon.
|
How are you getting from Venice to Paris? I am doing the trip backwards and was considering myair (per a reco from this site)
|
actually i just bought our tickets on myair yesterday from venice to paris. about $90 US dollars one way for the both of us
|
I too would move a day from Rome to Venice, otherwise it's not much worth it, imo.
