Yes, you can get decaf in Spain - cafe descafeinado (might be wrong on the spelling). Also diet coke is widely available - Coca Cola Light. Yes, spelled light, not sure why. I lived there for a year, and am still confused about more than a few things.

Have fun!

How else would you spell light? Lite? That is not a word that is used in Europe. Diet Coke is called Coca Cola Light here.

ON a side note:
My wife and I are Pepsi drinkers. While on a trip to Ireland and London(our first time to Europe) We noticed how hard Pespi is to find. We were a little surprised. Even small markets carried very little. My wife dubbed it
COKE " The official drink of Europe"

We just returned from 3 weeks in Spain and ate in many cafes, hotels, and restaurants. Decaf coffee was always, always instant Nescafe with a choice of making it with water or hot milk. Try the hot chocolate - in the good places it is very thick and tastes like melted chocolate bars. Pepsi or Coke light was available most places.

Tea was also readily available, but herbal tea was often not. I brought my own with me.
