dba airlines?

Has anyone flown dba airlines in europe? I am thinking about booking them for a flight between Munich and Rome, just wondering if they are a nice/good/efficient airline

Thanks :)

Very nice. Very efficient. In fact they were just voted Germany's No. 1 domestic airline.

While they used to be a subsidiary of British Airways (hence the name, abbreviation of Deutsche British Airways), they were bought about two years ago by German textile tycoon Woehrl who made them profitable.
Recently they merged with GEXX (Germania Express), a German low cost carrier based in Berlin.
Structure of the deal was that dba leased Gexx' planes, who in turn went out of business. In return, the main shareholder of GEXX obtained the majority of shares in dba.
The original dba aircraft might be a bit nicer as they are all Boeing 737.
Former GEXX aircraft are slightly smaller Fokkers, but on those predominantly short haul flights, it doesn't really make much of a difference. You'd be up to a reasonably pleasant flight.
