There are NO daytime flights direct from the US East Coast to Rome or Milan. All flights leave late afternoon or evening.

As previously stated, there are no direct flights to Rome or Milan leaving in the daytime from the East Coast. However, American has several day flights to Heathrow from Chicago (& and maybe JFK). You could then connect to BA and continue on to Rome.

Hi,
even if you took a daytime flight to Heathrow, allowing for connections, you would have to stay overnight in London before continuing to Rome.

VS has a daytime flight EWR to LHR, leaving at 8 am and arriving at 8 pm. You'd be able to go on to Rome the next day, if you wished.

GK

Sorry for the cryptic abbreviations. That's Virgin Atlantic, Newark to Heathrow.

GK
