Days In Vienna

Hi Everyone!

How many days is considered "decent" to spend in Vienna? I know there are many sites to see and things to do. So far, we plan to stay 4 days and 3 nights in Budapest before we head to Vienna. We will pretty much get into Vienna in the evening around 7pm from Budapest. Is 2 days ok or should it be more like 3 days? After Vienna, we will be heading to Prague.

Thanks!

2 days won't be enough to even scratch the surface. 3 full days (= 4 nights, not 2) are still very short and rushed. Myself, I'd rather have a week there.

Vienna, Budapest and Prague make for a nice trip as each city is completely different from the others. I would stay in Vienna three days rather than two if you are able.

I see that you are a relatively new poster. These boards contain a wealth of information and the posters will be happy to help you plan your trip.

I would say 4 days is a minimum in Vienna to be able to really get a feel for this lovely city.

Hi there!

Thanks for the replies. We decided to do 3 days in Vienna!

I agree with quokka and bettyk that 4 days would be better, but it depends on what you want to see and experience. Enjoy!
