Day trips to Florence, Venice - Any Recommended Tour Companies
A tour company called City Tours was recommended to me but they don't do day trips to Florence or Venice.
Can anyone recommend a tour company. |
I'm not sure what you need a company to do a day trip. Trains are very easy. Are these day trips from Rome? If so, forget trying to do a day trip to Venice. Florence is do-able as a day trip from Rome, Venice is just too far.

A day trip to Venice would be an absolutely horrific experience.

For Florence just hop a train - but be sure to get advance tickets for major attractions: David and Uffizi. And don;t go on Monday when things are closed.
Venice is too far for a day trip - you would have only a few hours there. |
Ovieto is fairly close and worthwhile also. If you purchase your tickets from Trenitalia machines, they are undated and need to be stamped before entering the carriage.

I posted options and a game plan itinerary on your other thread. Hope you are still reading it.
