Day trips out of Paris
I am looking for a mellow day trip to the countryside out of Paris. We will need to take the train. Not Versailles or Giverney (have been there before). Any suggestions?
Thank you, Suzanne |

Rouen. It's a marvelous town with lots to see. Approx. 45 min. train ride from Paris. I left Paris around 9:00am or so and returned around 5:00pm. Perfect walking town. I have a day trip report on this town if you're interested. E-mail me at [email protected] Very mellow :-)

Chartres - a beautiful cathedral and a cute town.

Do you like champagne? Cathedrals and history? Perhaps you would like Reims. It's a 45 minute train ride from Paris.
