day trips from Isle Sur La Sorgue
 

We will be staying in Isle Sur La Sorgue for 7 days in June. Would like some ideas for daytrips to take from there. Thanks.

We have based ourselves there several times and within an hour or so there are so many places to explore. Here is a list of some of the places we have gone:

Avignon
Arles
Pont Du Gard
Nimes
Aix en Provence
Les Baux
Vaison-la-Romaine and surrounding villages (Sablet, Gigondas and a few others). Also great vineyards and wine tastings in the villages.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Fountaine de Vaucluse
Marseille
Cassis

This region has so much to offer

We did that in 1999 and loved that location as a base.
Good day trips above, but please buy a good Guide book---the Michelin Green for Provence is hard to beat.
