Day trips from Florence
 

Hi! We will be in Florence from Friday, April 16(11.00 a.m.) till Mon, April 19(5.00 p.m.). We are planning to take day trips to
1.Siena & San Gimignano
2.Pisa & Lucca(any other suggestions?)
The rest of the time will be in Florence.
I heard that many attractions are closed on Mondays in Florence.

Any suggestions on how this part of the trip could be done, transportation, must-see's, travel time, sightseeing time needed for each of these places.....

Do your traveling on Sunday and Monday. Pisa and Lucca by train, Siena and San G by bus.

I loved San Gimignano. Pizza wasn't worth my time. Have fun either way.
