I suspect actually that you got quite confused in the course of this thread. You responded as follows to paris1953's comments about REGENSBURG:

Go back and read the thread, sort out your confusion, and try to read more accurately next time.

The 9:01 ALZ makes only one stop between Munich and Regensburg.

Also it is 125km from the Munich Hbf to Regensburg Hbf via car. A 1:19 travel time is completely reasonable.

For Regensburg regional trains are significantly faster - again mea culpa on mixing up the two and not reading carefully and you may be able to understand why, probably not.

I'll do both - I admit I had Rothenburg in my head when I read Regfensburg - I even kept looking at the thread title to see Rothenburg but a brain malfunction read Regensburg when the city being talked about changed. That's all I am guilty of - a common mistake in this case that can be excused in this case.
