hey, planning to have a day trip to Paris during my London trips, where should i visit and must visit at Paris there ???? how's the transportation there ??? thank's

Click on the destination link above and/or get yourself a good guide book of Paris. What you should visit and see depends on your interests. In a day trip you wont be able to see much, so be realistic and prioritize.

Coming from london you will arrive at Gare du Nord, so depending on what you want to see you will likely be using the Metro or the RER. If you google Paris Metro or RER you will get lots of information.

Make sure you book your Eurostar as far in advance as possible to get the best deal www.eurostar.com While tempting to book the first train of the day, dont forget to keep in mind the times the public transport starts running - and you need to be at St Pancras for check in at the latest 30 mins before departure.

use the Metro to get around in Paris...don't go crazy trying to see Paris in a day, you really can't...stick to one or two things you want to see...it's a great city to just relax and enjoy

If this is your first trip to paris, I would be using one of the hop on hop off buses , great way to see the streets and architecture of the city. Maybe do the full circuit and then hop off and on as you like.

i only have 5 to 6 hours there..

What day? When do you arrive/leave? Time of year? Any particular interests?

With that amount of time, I would pick two spots. Take Metro from train station, then metro/walk to other.

The Louvre area has a big conglomeration of sites, so going there, walking around (skip going in) would give you a nice treat.

Palais Royal, Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysee...views of Eiffel in distance, views of Arc de Triomphe up the Champs.

From there, make way to the Islands (cite and St Louis). Based on time, could walk..otherwise Metro. Ile de la Cite has Notre Dame. You could go in, or just appreciate from outside. Also nearby are boats offering ~1hr Seine cruises.

Walk over to bridge and cross over to Ile St Louis. Nice restaurant(s) with outdoor table right there. Last tiem I ate at Brasserie de L'Ile at one of the outdoor tables, with views of Notre Dame, Pantheon dome in distance, people watching. Ile St Louis is a small compact place with old buildings, nice shops, views of Seine,etc..

Alternatively, you could arrive and take a Parisvision, Cityrama or Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour to get a view of all of the big sites, then, depending on time left, go to one area, eat, walk around, leave.
