Day trip to Gobekli Tepe from Gaziantep
 

Hi,

My partner and I will be in Gaziantep and wanted to see Gobekli Tepe on Tuesday (Jul 2). We were also thinking of visiting the pools of Abraham in Sanliurfa and the birth cave as well. Right now we are in Istanbul.

I wanted recommendations on how to do this. Should we consider simply booking a taxi for the day, and seeing each of the main places. Are there regular day tours we can book in Gaziantep?

Wouldn't it be easier to fly from Istanbul to Sanliurfa instead of Gaziantep?
A bus ride from Gaziantep to Sanlurfa takes about 3 hrs and is dirty cheap.

A taxi ride would be much faster but cost about 10times more.
