Day trip to Cardiff from London for Dr Who experience
Doable? Worth it?
We will be in London for 3 days, and our 15 year old daughter (and my husband) really want to do this. I'm not a huge fan, but I know they'd love it. Is it easily accessible by rail? Taking the train from London to Cardiff, and then walking or taxi to the Dr Who experience? Then lunch, some sightseeing and train back to London. And before anyone says anything, YES, they are happy to cut a whole day out of London to do this, if it's easily done, and enjoyable :) Thanks! |
Only three days in London? I would send them on their own!
It's around two hours each way, advance tickets can be much, much cheaper than on the day. I know nothing about the Dr. Who Experience--there might be reviews on TripAdvisor. |
Oh geez, nevermind - they have decided they want to to a Beatles tour in Liverpool instead..
Sorry. |
If they are going to the Beatles tour you could go to see the various galleries in the docks.

There's a Harry Potter Experience quite close to London, just to round out the options.

Thanks :)
