Day trip from Bath-can we see the Cotswolds and Wales?

We will be based in Bath for 3 days and was wondering if there's a way to see the Cotswolds and Wales without a car....we want to return to Bath each night (free housing, as my husband's partner owns a flat there).

Anyone ever gone on a bike tour of the Cotswolds or somewhere similar?

Are you sure you mean "Wales"? Don't you mean Wells? It's a lovely place, with one of England's most interesting cathedrals. Not far from Bath. If you can, try to get out into the Mendip Hills which surround that area. A fine day trip from Bath is to see Castle Combe, in Wiltshire. A real picture-postcard place.

There is an hourly train service from Bath to Oxford, some direct, some with a change at Didcot Parkway. These will give you a nice scenic ride through the Cotswolds. Journey time one and a quarter hours.
Wales is a bit difficult without a car, but there is a frequent train service from Bath to Cardiff, journey time just over an hour. Not sure I would do it though.
It is quite likely that a number of bus companies will operate half day and day tours out of Bath, which will take you to the more notable attractions around Bath.
No ideas on the bike rides, sorry.

There is a Costwold Link bus service that runs twice daily in both directions from
Bath to Stratford, making stops en route that include the best towns in the Costwolds.
You can use this to daytrip from Bath or Stratford to a Cotswold town, vice-versa, or within the Costwolds..

That bus service would connect with train services to London at Moreton-in-Marsh and Kemble, as well as, of course, at Stratford and Bath.
