Day tours from Aberdeen
Will be in Aberdeen three nights in early May. We would like to do a daytour of surrounding area, but haven't been able to find any companies that offer them. Any ideas?

White's of Newmachar do some

http://www.whytescoachtours.co.uk/

In searching out that link, I see Haggis Backpackers area dvertising something, and there was a company in Old Aberdeen, but I can't find, them. they may have gone bust.

I can recommend a private guy, but I doubt he'd be cheap. How many are you?

When will you be here exactly and what do you want to see?

Sheila,

Thanks for your reply about tours-I will contact the company very soon. We will be in Aberdeen either May 6, 7 and 8 or May 8, 9 and 10. There are two of us, my sister and I. Think we are a bit old for backpacking tours.

If you are here on the 8th, 9th and 10th, let me offer you some hospitality on the 10th- I would be delighted to show you around a bit, since I think what you're doing will be difficult by public transport. I can't before that, since I will be working after my week away in Crete the week before.

drop me an email at [email protected]

And don't be put off by Haggis's name. It's not just about backpackers, more about style. Have a look at their web site
