Day of cooking in Italy for family of 4
 

We would like to experience a day of cooking somewhere close to Venice. We are a family of 4 driving fron Barcelonia to Venice before a cruise. We like simple, friendly and small gatherings. Would not like seafood cleaning and prep, but homemade pasta dishes, chicken and veg. Kids are 15 and 17 and love people and appreciate adults and their interaction. This is tough as we have know idea where to start. This is not about gourmet, but about the experience. Date of arrival in Barcelona is June 17. Nothing like last minute planning hunh? : (

I live in Italy,I spend some months in Milano and the other part of the year in Sardegna. We are not closed to Venice but we are great cook!!!

Lol....do you want to make homemade pasta with a family of 4?

check the Italy board on Chowhound. I'm sure I've seen something about cooking classes on there.
